Page speed affects two things at once: how many visitors actually stay long enough to read your site, and how Google evaluates your pages for ranking through Core Web Vitals. Both are addressed directly, through image optimization, efficient code, and fast hosting, rather than left as an afterthought.
On new builds, speed is handled from the first line of code. On existing sites, we run a review to find the specific things slowing a page down, usually oversized images, unnecessary scripts, or slow hosting, and fix them directly.

Why it matters
Google has confirmed page experience and Core Web Vitals are a ranking factor, and independent studies consistently show conversion rates drop sharply as load time increases past a couple of seconds. A slow site is losing both search visibility and visitors who already found it.
